Before we met....

Well, I have always been a boy-crazy girl. I have had some crazy relationships in the past that have ended quicker than I could say "Yeah, he's mine". One day I decided that I would just focus on school and in September I would go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was so excited for it! Everything seemed to be going well. I had a position as an ARA (Assistant to the Resident Assistants) at Snow College. I was super excited for this school year. I knew that something was going to change my life this year. I would either 1) go on a mission or 2) get married. Either way, I knew that I was going to be going through the temple to receive my endowments. I have always been so excited for this!

Anyway, the Sunday before school started we were all in Sacrament Meeting. I have a tendency of looking at the guys who bless or pass the sacrament. I think the reason that I do this is because I know that they are worthy of dating. :D I saw this really cute guy up there. He was tall, dark, and super handsome. I kept my eye on him for some reason. When he blessed the water, I could not get his voice out of my head! The following Wednesday, I was helping at the "Meet your Bishop Night". I was in charge of taking pictures of every one in our ward. This cute guy never showed up. At the end of the night, a girl came in. She was the last one I needed to take a picture of. So I asked for her name and she said Jennifer Palmer. I got all the info that I needed and then took her picture.

The bishop randomly said that she had a brother in the ward. For some reason, I asked if it was the guy who blessed the water. She thought about it for a moment and she said yes. I asked if I could have his name and number.... she did not even think about it before she said no. I was not too hurt because I was not "In the market" for dating any ways.

Life went on as we knew it. All the way until December that is.
