List of things that went wrong

There were so many things that were hard for me, but even harder for Nick. I felt so bad for him. Nick's family automatically welcomed me! I felt so loved. When ever I walked into a group of his family, I was instantly greeted with a hug! Nick on the other hand did not get that warm of a greeting. Our engagement came as a negative shock to my family. Some people really was okay with it. However, most of them did not. Nick is still to this day trying to get everyone to be more welcoming. They have all accepted the fact that we are married, they just do not like it very much I guess. Here is a list of things that went kinda crazy during our engagement:

date was changed 5 times:
May 15
June 25
July 23
June 25
August 7

Why was it changed so many times? Simple, everyone thought that it would be hard to plan a wedding for May, so we moved it to June. My parents said that the flowers would not be good in June. We were asked to move it to "late July, early August". We moved it to July and my parents were not happy with this. They pulled out financially, so we moved it back to June because now there really was no way we could have it in May. My dad later convinced me to change it to August to make my mom happy. I even let her choose the date. She chose August 7.

Nicks ring trouble
I ordered a ring for Nick online. It was a great price and they would do free engravings, shipping and handling. I was so excited. I had it engraved to say our wedding date. Once we got the ring, we had changed our date. I tried to call the company to see if they could change the date. They tried in a ring there and said it would not work. I had to RE ORDER a new ring. I did in later July and I accidentally got the wrong ring. But it was okay because we both thought that it looked even better.

Money issues
Every one knows that money is a horrible thing. It will only create DRAMA and trouble for every one. Our wedding was no different. My family once again pulled out financially. At first, I was so upset about this. They wanted so many things for my wedding and wanted me to pay for it. Nick and I decided that it is our wedding and we did what we wanted. We wanted a small reception. So we made it that way. I was lucky to be working at a place that paid me well, so I ended up putting $1800.00 into the wedding out of my own pocket. Nicks family put a whole lot more into our wedding than I did. I am eternally grateful for them all.

Bridesmaid dresses
The dresses seemed to be the messiest thing! I told the girls to just wear a lavender top and a white skirt. The outcome was periwinkle blue dresses. Don't ask how that happened. It just did. :)

Nicks ring trouble part two
Once we got to the temple for our sealing, Nick gave me his ring ( I had him holding it for security purposes). He told me to give it to my dad. We went into a room to sign papers, and I accidentally left it there. We had it seemed, all the temple workers looking for the ring. LUCKILY by the time our sealing came, the ring was in our hands.

This is just a readers digest of the troubles we faced. :D
