Sunday Nick and I thought that we should go to the bishop to let him know that we were dating. We went and told him in between Sunday School and Sacrament Meeting. After we told him, he said "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" We said no. He asked if we were sure. We said yes. The bishop went on with a story how he and his wife dated not very long, they got engaged and her parents did not like it. She was supposed to go on a mission. She was from a big family, etc. At the end of the story he asked again "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" We said no again. And he said okay.
Later that day we were making dinner, once dinner was done and we were cleaning up, Nick said wouldn't it be funny if we pretended to be engaged? I thought that would be way funny! So, we went to the temple and took "engagement pictures". I got to my apartment and I told my roomies so they would be in the loop. They thought they should take some engagements too. So, we went to the bell tower and pretended to get engaged. I almost cried. it felt so real and it felt so right. When we got back, we told the RA's. They were shocked! They did not know what to say. I forgot who said it, but someone said "you don't even know his shoe size, how can you love him!" I still don't to this day!
The next day at school I was on a high, I felt so good about being engaged. But I did not wanna tell anyone because it was fake. I tried to stay quiet, but at the same time things felt so real that I did tell a few people. Word also got around Nuttal Hall, Nicks dorm. It seemed like most the girls there liked him so it caused quite an up roar.
Later that night, Nick texted me saying that Jenn found out that we were engaged. I called Nick to see if everything was okay. He said that things were not and that we needed to talk. I was so afraid. I ran into Kia and Tori's room and explained the story to them and that we are probably going to be broken up after this conversation. They thought that it was okay, after all we only dated a week...
