This night was going to change my life forever. I guess that is why I was so dang nervous. Nicole, me and a few others showed up early to get things set up for the dinner. The Chicken Cordon Bleu we discovered would take tons longer than we had anticipated. We were panicing about this new insight. Solution: Start dating pannel when people got there, and by the time their questions ran out, the chicken would be cooked! Did it work? HECK YES! The way that the night played out was the audience would ask a question, and every one had to answer, unless it was directed to a specific person on the dating pannel. So many questions were asked that night. There is only one that I remember, or have any reason to remember.
The question came from a girl who REALLY liked Nick. She asked every one in the pannel.
Question: "How is your love life?"
Every one of us answered. The RM couple started, they talked about how amazing life was and that they were so happy! ( This couple was very happy I guess because they are to be married 9-24-10) Congrats Nicole Reush and Ryler Masco! The second couple was the couple who has been married for years. They ended up both crying. It was a very touching moment. Then it was my turn. I just said with a big grin on my face "SINGLE!" Nick went next, he said kinda quietly, single.
Then we heard from the back
"You two should date!"
It was the bishop. I kinda laughed about it and thought, "hey, time to be funny!" So, I rubbed Nick's shoulder, to his suprise, and I said that we have actually been talking about it quite seriously. Nick turned bright red, he was so embarresed because we had never talked about this topic.
Wow, this one joke would change things quite a bit. Thank you Bishop!
